On the 7th, Takaaki Ishibashi (62) of the comedy duo “Tunnels” appeared on TBS Radio’s “SPORTS BULL presents Takaaki Ishibashi’s GATE7” (Sunday 7:00), where he serves as a personality. He repeatedly made guest appearance Motonobu Tanishige (53), a former Chunichi manager and baseball commentator, laugh out loud.

The theme of the day was “This year’s championship is here!!”, and Mr. Tanishige talked regarding his predictions for this season’s professional baseball rankings and the players to watch.

Among them, Mr. Tanishige named outfielder Takateru Watarai (21 = ENEOS), the No. 1 drafted rookie of DeNA, as a player to watch in the Central League this season, and said in an amused voice, “I’m also a BayStars alumnus, following all.” It was an added flow.

When Ishibashi asked Tanishige regarding the name of the team when he turned professional, “Is it Taiyo?” Tanishige answered in a nostalgic voice, “It’s Taiyo.” Then, Ishibashi said, “The other day… last year? Last year, I went to Yokohama to watch it. I was watching it in a place like the press box,” regarding the time he watched a DeNA game live at their home base, Yokohama Stadium. We started talking.

“There was a very scary (scary) old man sitting next to me. I thought, “It’s a scary old man.” He kept glancing at me. I thought he was some kind of newspaper reporter. As I was thinking regarding it, I suddenly heard “Taka-san! “What?”

Mr. Tanishige, an alumnus of the team, was also intrigued by the unexpected development. Apparently, a scary-looking old man approached him and said, “It’s me!” When Ishibashi timidly asked, “Huh? Who is it?” It was an unexpected person.

Ishibashi said, “At Meiji (University), Hirosawa (Katsumi) and Bali Bali Ace were No. 4. He was the great ace when Meiji won several consecutive championships…” and Mr. Tanishige said in an amused voice, “Takeda-san! Mitsunori! Mr. (Mitsukuni)!” he said straight away. “Ahahahahaha…” I mightn’t stop laughing.

“Taka-san! Ishibashi finally realized that the other person was Mitsunori Takeda (61), an old friend. At the punchline of this story, Mr. Tanishige might only laugh out loud, saying, “Ahahahahaha…”

Mr. Tanishige seemed amused when his senior’s name suddenly came up, saying, “You’re number one in the draft, Taiyo.” Ishibashi said, “I’m so surprised. I’ve gained weight. It’s scary! I’ve been glancing at you for a while now…I’m not looking at an old man…” I thought, “It’s been a long time!” “Takeda, you’re one grade below me. So I’ve known you since your first year.”I said, “You’re at Nihon University’s first high school, right?” “That’s it. From then on…” he said, explaining that Ishibashi, who is also from Tokyo and is a member of Teikyo High School’s baseball team, is one grade higher than him.

Mr. Tanishige added, “I didn’t really play with Mitsunori during his active years. Mitsunori was considered a batting pitcher, probably when I joined the team.” Ishibashi reflected on the ups and downs of Takeda’s life, saying, “I was drafted in first place from Meiji University with high expectations, but I got injured and got hit by a ball.” I put it on.

In response to Tanishige’s explanation that “he’s still with the team,” Ishibashi also shared information he’d heard from him, saying, “He’s working with the BayStars. They’re looking for players to be drafted or something.”
