THE beauty and health business in Indonesia has grown very rapidly since 2020. The market for beauty and care products in Indonesia grew by an annual average of 11.9% from 2020 to 2023. This has attracted the interest of foreign beauty manufacturers to collaborate with domestic manufacturers.

A total of 10 leading Taiwanese companies will come to participate in the “2024 Taiwan Beauty and Healthcare Trade Meeting to Indonesia” in Jakarta.

The event, organized by the Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA) and The International Trade Administration (TITA), aims to open up business opportunities in the beauty and health sector in the Indonesian market.

In this event, Taiwanese companies will offer opportunities for local business people to meet directly and have one-on-one discussions with Taiwanese companies, in order to explore opportunities for cooperation and expand the market for beauty and health products in Indonesia.

Referring to statistical data, the beauty and care product market in Indonesia grew at an annual average of 11.9% from 2020 to 2023, making it the fastest in Southeast Asia. It is estimated that this market will continue to grow at an annual average of 5.81% until 2027.

The Taiwanese delegation attending on July 16 will bring a variety of superior products from the medical and health beauty industry, including the best health supplement products, raw materials for health manufacturers and OEM manufacturers, biotechnology companies developing medical beauty products, as well as high-level health and beauty examination service providers and many more. These products are guaranteed to meet the needs of the Indonesian people who want innovative, high-quality products with good value.

Through a press release received today, Director of Taiwan Trade Center Jakarta, Ms. Amy Hsiao expressed that her party is very enthusiastic to present the best products from Taiwan to the Indonesian market. According to her, the Indonesian market has great potential, especially in the beauty and health industry which continues to grow rapidly.

“Through this event, we hope to build close and mutually beneficial business relationships between Taiwanese companies and local business players in Indonesia,” said Ms. Amy Hsiao.

Taiwanese companies participating in this event have also had experience in various promotional activities organized by TAITRA, such as the Southeast Asia Market Expansion Delegation and the Taiwan Expo in Indonesia. They are very interested in the ASEAN market and have great ambitions to expand their business in Indonesia.
