The ISA Junior World Surfing Championships are currently taking place in Brazil, at the Macumba spot in Rio. A delegation of surfers from Tahiti obtained their qualification to participate. The competition started on November 24 and is scheduled to continue until December 3. It was marked by changing wave conditions, with heights varying from 2m to 1m50 with the tide. The surfers had to adapt to this altogether difficult and, above all, new environment, particularly with favorable waves in the morning but becoming difficult in the followingnoon. Despite everything, the atmosphere and climate offer an ideal setting for this high-level competition. Tahitian surfers demonstrated their determination in these demanding conditions.
