Taha Ismail, attacking Musimani: Al-Ahly wastes points well… and repeats the scenario of last season

Taha Ismail, the former Al-Ahly star and coach, launched a sharp attack on Pitso Mosimane, the coach of the Red Genie, because of the many negative breaks he gave the players in the past period, and the way the team was managed.

Ismail said in statements on the On Time Sports channel: “Al-Ahly is physically (reality and a little), we need to reconsider the formations, the coach was giving the players a negative rest for 8 days off, and when we criticize that, the response to him was (he wins).”

He added: “After the Club World Cup, Al-Ahly lost back and forth once morest Sun Downs, and tied once morest Al Hilal, and won with great difficulty at Al-Marikh, Al-Hilal and Al-Ittihad of Alexandria, then tied with the Vanguards of the Army and Ceramica and lost once morest Al-Masry.”

He continued, “What was happening in the last 10 games of last season, this season is repeated early, as Al-Ahly lost 7 points in the last 4 games, and paid everything the opposing team spent on the top.”

And he continued: “Al-Ahly wasted points and the difference with the opponent well-deserved, (not injustice or bad luck), Al-Ahly is less physically in recent matches, (Al-Ahly is very far), and repeats what happened last season early.”

And he continued: “Al-Ahly scored 30 goals in the first 10 matches in the league this season, and in the last 4 matches, he scored two goals and lost 7 points. Why did the team fall like this?”

And he added, “The coach involved 7 new players in the team in front of Ceramica. Where is the stress? And following the team is homogeneous, will 7 new players be involved? .. The league is still on the field, but there must be realistic, self-criticism of the team and its conditions.”

Taha Ismail completed his statements, rejecting the attack of some once morest Musimani’s critics, as he said: “I love Al-Ahly more than all those who talk… The coach must accept the self-trainer, not be arrogant, and know that something is wrong.”

Al-Ahly had missed the seventh point in a row in the league, following a 1-1 draw once morest Ceramica Cleopatra, in the match that took place on Saturday evening, at the Arab Contractors Stadium in Jabal Al-Akhdar, for the 17th round of the competition.

This is the third consecutive stumble for Al-Ahly in the league competition, following it received a sudden defeat once morest Al-Masry with a clean goal, then a negative tie once morest the Vanguard of the Army, before tonight’s tie once morest Ceramica.
