But the company has also encountered some serious financial blows. In a 2023 study by Ookla, the average internet download speed in Indonesia was recorded at only around 25 Mbps, far below the standards of developed countries. In rural areas and areas outside Java, the speed figures are often lower, and connectivity is often intermittent.
Starlink products are available for purchase directly at Hypermart stores, and in the first phase, Starlink products can be found at six stores, namely Hypermart Puri Indah, Hypermart Supermall Karawaci, Hypermart Villa Melati Mas, Hypermart Mal Lippo Cikarang, Hypermart Cibubur Junction and Hypermart Supermall Pakuwon Indah Surabaya. In addition, consumers can also get Starlink products online through the Lazada eCommerce platform.
“Affordable internet access has become a basic need in the digital era. This collaboration is one of our strategies in improving the company’s business to provide complete products, faster solutions and better services for our customers,” said Jerry Goei, Deputy CEO of PT Matahari Putra Prima as the holding company of Hypermart.

“I still don’t understand everything this means. I am proud and surprised at the same time, we don’t understand the achievement. The Olympic medal was always a dream, not a plan. “I hope Las Leonas or some of the other Argentine athletes who still have a chance of winning a medal win.
