Al-Marsad newspaper: A citizen on scholarship in America revealed the details of his suffering from renewing his driver’s license there, noting that he had booked an appointment to renew the license three months in advance, and when the appointment came he waited 3 hours for his turn to finish his papers.
He published a video clip on his Twitter account, documenting his suffering during the renewal of his driver’s license, and suggested that the US government send a “reverse mission” to the Kingdom in order to teach them how to end such matters in passports.
And the citizen said in the video: “By God, my group, I was tired of waiting for more than three hours following I booked the appointment three months ago, frankly, their services with licenses and identity are tiring in some way you can imagine, although America is a technologically advanced country and the first place in the world, but the government is much late for several reasons.” .
He continued, “I have a proposal for them, and it is a fair and fair proposal for us in Saudi Arabia, that they send us representatives in the US government in their agencies, whether traffic or non-traffic, and they take a course in the Ministry of Interior at Absher, passports and traffic, teaching them how to solve things smoothly.”
And he concluded: “The comfort of citizens is the most important thing. Today, I saw tormented Americans, old and young, and their condition is a state of queues and waiting for hours, so we suggest that we work for them on a counter-emission, so that they develop and reach the stage that we have reached in Saudi Arabia.”
