As we got news regarding Season 2 of Halo Infinite this Saturday, the developers of 343 Industries are not forgetting season 1. This should last until May 2, 2022 when many players have already completed the Battle Pass. To pace the weeks between the Fractures, the studio therefore offers weeks of events offering a specific combat pass.
Tactical Ops event kicks off this week, SWAT objective
This event will likely start on Tuesday if we take into account the history of 343 Industries. It will focus on variants of the “Tactical Slayer” mode, better known as SWAT. As a reminder, this places the player in 4V4 matches where the slightest headshot is deadly, armed with a combat shotgun. The Battle Pass for this event will unlock items for the Armor Core Mark VII.
The Multiplayer Director of Halo Infinite leave the studio
The lead designer of the multiplayer part of Halo Infinite, Andrew Witts, announced his departure from the studio, a few months following the official release of the title. He had been working there for three years and was responsible for the title’s fundamental modes and systems. He explains in his message his honor to have been able to participate in this project, before thanking the fans.
Today was my last day at 343 Industries. It’s been an honor leading the MP design team over these years. Thank you to all @Halo fans for your feedback over the years. We made this game for you.
Going to take some time off to relax and recharge but I’m excited what’s next! pic.twitter.com/3uXaKIP28g

The departure comes as many gamers are unhappy with the rate at which new content is released, while the studio continues to work on critical issues at the heart of the title.
