TAAG reinforces flights on regional and domestic routes – news

TAAG – Linhas Aéreas de Angola will increase flights to Namibia, Republic of Congo, São Tomé and Mozambique from December 11, 2023, according to a note sent to the OPAÍS editorial team.

The increase in flights to Ponta Negra, Windhoek and Maputo is justified by the fact that these regional destinations have seen significant growth in market demand, even being preferential routes for the corporate segment, leisure destinations and traffic originating from Portuguese-speaking countries. .

Thus, according to TAAG, Windhoek (WDH) now has daily flights, Ponta-Negra (PNR) and São Tomé (TMS) now have flights on Mondays and Fridays, while Maputo (MPM) now has flights with five flights, namely on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday.

At a domestic level, TAAG increased frequencies to the city of Lubango, province of Huíla, which, as a result of this operation, now has twice daily flights on Thursdays, totaling nine weekly frequencies.
