TAAG Linhas Aéreas de Angola introduces Boeing’s 787 Dreamliner model into its fleet for the first time. Delivery of the first aircraft is scheduled for August 2024.
Continuing the implementation of its Business Plan and fleet modernization, TAAG Linhas Aéreas de Angola has just ordered four new Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft, destined to cover the company’s continental and intercontinental routes, starting in the 3rd quarter of 2024. The incorporation of these new aircraft is in line with the Customer Journey project underway at TAAG, which has as its main objective the improvement of the product, comfort and service, providing a unique experience for the TAAG passenger.
The Boeing 787 Dreamliner stands out for its high level of comfort, technology and interior design. From an operational point of view, this is an efficient aircraft in terms of fuel economy and environmental sustainability, with a 25% reduction in CO2 emissions compared to the previous generation.
The negotiation process between the TAAG Board of Directors and the manufacturer made it possible to ensure the best conditions for the company, and incorporate the aircraft into the innovative “sale-and-leaseback” regime.
