SUMMARY
After defeating Milan, another Italian team was waiting for Livepool in the regular season of the Champions League. Arne Slot’s team had never met Bologna in a match before, despite this, there was no question about the chances before the start.
Bologna scored the first goal through Dallinga, but the Dutch attacker caught the ball in an ambush, so it rattled the net in vain. In the 11th minute, we saw a valid goal. After Salah’s masterful arc Mac Allister he broke away from his defender at a good pace and shot into the goal with his left foot from two meters. Not long after, we saw another invalid goal, this time Núnez shot in vain. In the 19th minute, Szoboszlai could have scored, but after Szalah’s pass, he shot from 11 meters near the goal. In the middle of the half, Bologna also showed signs of life. Ndoye hit the post twice in four minutes, and Alisson had to save Urbanski’s shot in the 33rd minute.
The second half started with a chance for the home team, but Núnez’s header did not hit the goal. In the 56th minute, Bologna had another opportunity to equalize, when Orsolini’s shot from the long corner was saved by Alisson. Despite his goal assist, he faded into the field in the first half Salah shook himself up in the second half. First, in the 63rd minute, he shot just inches from the lower right corner from 15 meters, in the 75th minute he made no mistakes from a similar distance, masterfully placing it in the upper right corner of the goal. Dominik Szoboszlai provided the assist for Egypt. Liverpool confidently won their second BL match, Bologna could not find the back of the net this time either. 2–0
