“GODS ‍TIMING !!!” she wrote at the time on social media. “FOLLOW YOUR DREAMS AND SAY THEM‍ OUTLOUD !!NEVER GIVE UP !!‌ ANYTHING ‍IS POSSIBLE I BELIEVE IN YOU !!”

SZA⁣ explained that her ⁣decision stems from a desire to prioritize her own well-being⁤ while‍ planning for motherhood. “And it’s ‌not even like ⁢I’m trying to do ⁢anything that’s groundbreaking or nontraditional or like, modern woman,” SZA shared.“I just literally feel like it’s less stressful to think about like, ‘Who’s it⁤ gonna ‌be? Are they trustworthy? Is‌ this person going to ⁢really love me? Is this partner material?’ Versus being⁢ like, OK, this is the‍ doctor I know I want to deliver my kids.”

Before possibly⁣ releasing new music, SZA is set ⁣to embark on a highly anticipated tour. She will co-headline ‍the 23-city “Grand National Tour” alongside hip-hop ⁣icon Kendrick Lamar. The tour kicks off ⁣on April 19th in Minneapolis⁣ and culminates on June 18th in Landover, Maryland.

**SZA:** (Laughs) To be honest, it felt like a natural progression. I love making music that moves people, but lately,I’ve felt this strong pull towards creating something uplifting and nurturing, especially for younger ears.

**Interviewer:** It’s interesting because this isn’t entirely out of the blue. You appeared on Sesame Street last year, and even tweeted about wanting to be on the show back in 2017. Was that a childhood dream come true?

**SZA:** It absolutely was! Sesame Street was a huge part of my childhood, and to be able to share a little bit of myself wiht those young viewers felt truly special.
