Scunthorpe – The Diocese President Mar Joseph Srambical stated that it is a great testimony of God’s mercy that the family of Great Britain Syro Malabar Diocese gathered in Scunthorpe to experience and proclaim the word of Jesus. He was speaking at the inauguration of the National Bible Art Festival of the Diocese. About 1,500 talents who won the arts festivals held in twelve regions participated in the competitions held in twelve venues at Scunthorpe Frederick School. The competition city also became the venue for the Diocese’s family gathering as their families joined together to support the contestants at the Diocesan Bible Arts Festival, which is rated as the biggest arts festival in Europe. Jojo Plapalil CMI and Father Joseph Pinakad Diocese clergy and laity representatives from different regions led the arts festival.
