Minister of Health Adonis Georgiadis expressed his condolences to the family of the 28-year-old woman who was murdered last night in Agioi Anarirou, speaking to SKAI and the program Today, pointing out that an investigation will be conducted into the reaction of the police department. Responding to Stefanos Kasselakis’ interview with SKAI and Co. Kosionis, the Minister of Health clarified that early national elections are not foreseen and will not take place. Also referring to the tragedy of Tempi, he called on SYRIZA to request a preliminary investigation for Christos Spirtzis, but also for Nikos Pappa for Mati.
“Condolences to the family of this young lady. It is shocking what has happened, I have no words to describe it. We have a murder almost outside the Police Station. The necessary investigation will be done to investigate whether the protocols and regulations have been followed.”
To take, however, noted the Minister of Health, an incident and make it a flag in order to draw a conclusion, I think is not correct. “How many times have you heard the news that a police officer has saved a human life while off duty? We don’t have these phenomena in our society either, not everything is broken and not everything is black. A society without crime does not exist. Yesterday 2 children were killed in a school in Finland, the safest country in the world. ELAS has made great progress in fighting crime.”
He insisted that police officers serving high-ranking figures returned to active duty. “They have taken my guard as well. They have taken a guard from the prime minister. At this moment we have the fewest in officially so-called persons than at any other time.’
“On ND, the criminal code is stricter”

Such an issue (of early elections) does not exist.”
Mr. Kasselakis, added the Minister of Health, said that the limit he sets for himself is over 17%, that is, he absolutely accepts that SYRIZA remains the second party, with a smaller margin. Is it possible to call for elections if he knows he will be second? He says so himself. “Where did we hear of holding an election whenever we think the percentages are changing?” he wondered.
“SYRIZA should make a proposal for Spirtzis and Pappa”
Regarding Tempi, he said “what are people saying, what is the criminal charge that public opinion accuses Kostas Karamanlis? He says that if the 717 contract had been completed we would have had remote control, so the human error of the station master would not have led to the crash. Where does the hypocrisy of SYRIZA appear? What did the prosecutor say at the trial for Mati, which takes place six years following the tragedy in Mati… 104 dead there. Dead and in sight, we forget them. Children were burned alive in Mati, we forget it. What did the prosecutor say? If 112 had been completed, people would not have died… If there is criminal responsibility for Costas Karamanlis because if 717 had been completed the Tempe accident would not have happened, then by absolute analogy Nikos Pappas of SYRIZA should have gone to prison for not completed 112. So if SYRIZA believes that there is criminal responsibility here, it will make a proposal (for the establishment of a preliminary investigation committee) for Spirtzis and Pappas and say that they should go to prison. As long as he does not do this, it is obvious that he is instrumentalizing (…) Everything that SYRIZA is doing is just vulgarity. In one year from Tempi they put up a banner in Koumoundourou for the 57 dead. Can anyone show me the banner they put up for the Eye? For the world to understand what hypocrites and liars and merchants of human suffering they are. We who really hurt do not distinguish the dead, we who really hurt do not raise banners for the Eye in the SW.
