SYRIZA: The “Tsipras guard” is preparing a mass exodus with the election of Kasselakis 2024-10-03 13:00:20

The statement of Olga Gerovasilis, the day before yesterday, that if Kasselakis is elected, SYRIZA will end was not just by chance. And this because the “87”, in addition to trying to extort the vote of SYRIZA members, also announce their decision to leave SYRIZA if Mr. Kasselakis is elected.

“With Kasselakis, we are not continuing in the party. We will leave. And we will do it maybe even before he is elected, if everything shows that we are going in that direction”, as an experienced executive of “87” confides to the Free Press, who nevertheless estimates that the candidacy of Sokratis Famellos will change the image of the opinion polls in approximately two months remaining until the first round of internal party elections, the climate will change drastically in favor of Mr. Famellos.

Needless to say, but it is worth mentioning that this move already has the “ok” of Alexis Tsipras, for whom everyone in SYRIZA, supporters and non-supporters, are sure that he will make his own move in the political scene, after the finalization of the developments in PASOK and SYRIZA.

People of Alexis Tsipras, moreover, selectively channeled to the media that in the last Metron Analysis poll, presented by Mega, when asked if they wanted a new party to the left of the N.D., 39% answered positively. And they emphasized that from the analysis of this 39%, it appears that it is mainly young people 17-39 who believe that there is room in politics for a new party.

Well, according to the message sent by the Tsipras staff, 6 out of 10 in Greece think that a new party is not needed, but 4 out of 10 want a new party, and even in the area of the center-left, where there are already PASOK, SYRIZA, KKE, New Left, MERA25, ANTARSYA, etc.

Other information, however, states that a survey by a large and well-known polling company, which did not see the light of day but went to the company’s clients who ordered it, recorded a very large percentage of negative opinions about Alexis Tsipras, with the head of the survey commenting that he is “cemented”.

In this climate, SYRIZA has not been able to find the… antidote to the daily… debauchery in which its executives indulge in the media and social media and above all it has not found answers to the automatic comparison that public opinion makes with PASOK, the which also leads to the election of a new president, but in a diametrically opposite climate. However, its executives are asking for a debate between the candidates, with social media wondering (and raging) how Stefanos Kasselakis, Sokratis Famellos, Pavlos Polakis and perhaps another candidate will manage to finish a debate.

This latter results from the assessment of some of the “87” who say that if they see that Sokratis Famellos does not have the support of all the voters expressed by the “87” of Alexis Tsipras and has losses, then another candidate must be found or candidate to collect these losses. And in the second round to declare that he supports Famello.

Why is Stefanos taking a long time to decide?

Regarding the nominations, we already have the nomination of Pavlos Polakis, with the signatures of 31 members of the K.E. plus the signature of MEP and former basketball player Nikos Pappas, of Sokratis Famellos, without the necessary signatures, while Olga Gerovasilis and Nikos Pappas came out of the race with their statements.

At the same time, a whole rumor has developed around the delay of Stefanos Kasselakis to announce his own candidacy. Latest reports say he will formally announce his candidacy after the central committee meeting on October 5, but other party sources insist he will delay it as long as he has the right to, because he sees himself as being strengthened until he does. Firstly because the noise around him is maintained and secondly because the attacks of the party system continue, which – according to this reading – strengthens him against the party base that will be called to vote on November 24.

However, there are executives who insist that Mr. Kasselakis is reluctant to announce his candidacy and is not operating based on any communication plan. And he hesitates because he is faced with a dilemma. Which is to use the points given to him by his victimization operation by the “87” of Alexis Tsipras to win the mandate of the base of SYRIZA or to proceed with the establishment of his own political body.
