The placement of Nikos Pappas as head of the SYRIZA Parliamentary Group also brings changes to the department heads in the Official Opposition party.
Of these changes in department heads that were announced after the SYRIZA Parliamentary Group presidium meeting, the return of Pavlos Polakis as Transparency department head as well as Popis Tsapanidou as Digital Policy department head stands out.
Haris Mamoulakis was appointed in place of Nikos Pappas as Head of Finance, while Sokratis Famellos does not assume any portfolio.
According to the announcement made during the meeting of the presidium of the Parliamentary Group of SYRIZA-Progressive Alliance, it was decided that the following members of the Parliamentary Group undertake the monitoring of government work by area of competence:
