“Kyriakos Mitsotakis refers to an imaginary country when he talks to foreign television networks. Like today in his interview with CNN, where he claimed that the six-day work established by his government applies to a small number of workers”, states SYRIZA – PS in a statement.
He notes that “in the same interview he went so far as to claim that in Greece we have almost established the… 4-day work”.
SYRIZA comments that “the idyllic situation that the Prime Minister described for the workers in the country (he almost told them to “live your myth in Greece”), unfortunately only applies to him and his powerful friends”.
He adds that “Greek workers certainly know that the anti-labor regulation for the 6-day work is here, that the flexibility and intensification of work is the norm, that we still have a long way to go before we can talk regarding decent wages and serious state intervention once morest employer abuses”.
