Syria claims Israeli missile attack on Homs province, five soldiers injured

Israel fired missiles at the Syrian province of Homs in the central part of the country, the Syrian Defense Ministry said. Israel did not comment on the information. Five Syrian soldiers were injured.

The shelling occurred at approximately 00:35 from a direction northeast of Beirut. “Our air defense systems reacted to the aggressor’s missiles and shot down some of them,” the Syrian Defense Ministry said on Facebook (the social network belongs to Meta, which is recognized as extremist and banned in the Russian Federation).

This is the third Israeli attack on Syria since March 30th. On Thursday and Friday, attacks were made on the outskirts of Damascus. Two soldiers were injured.
