Sad news came back from the entertainment world, soap opera Dicky Topan died. The mother, Lusi Yanti, confirmed the departure of her late child on Thursday (7/7/2022) at 21:50 WIB.
He said that Dicky had recently struggled with lung swelling since the COVID-19 pandemic broke out.
“Yes, Dicky Topan died. Heart swelling. It’s been two years since COVID-19,” explained Dicky Topan’s mother, quoted from detikHot, Thursday (7/7).

What is an Swelling of the Heart?

Symptoms of Swelling Heart
In some cases, swelling of the heart like that experienced by the late Dicky Typhoon may not cause symptoms. However, some people generally experience the following symptoms if they have cardiomegaly:
- Shortness of breath, especially when lying down
- Wake up short of breath
- Irregular heart rhythm (arrhythmia)
- Swelling (edema) in the abdomen or legs.
When to go to the doctor?
An enlarged heart can be more easily treated if detected early. Immediately consult the nearest health facility if you feel chest pain, discomfort in other areas of the upper body, including one or both arms, back, neck, jaw, or stomach, severe shortness of breath, or fainting.
What caused it?
Swelling of the heart (cardiomegaly) can be caused by damage to the heart muscle or any condition that makes the heart pump harder than usual. Sometimes the heart becomes larger and becomes weak for unknown reasons. This condition is called idiopathic cardiomyopathy.
