The Italian city of Rome witnessed a “demonstration”, as dozens of fans of American action film star Sylvester Stallone gathered to greet him or take a souvenir photo with him.

The hero of the “Rocky” film series was enjoying with his family during a “quiet” walk in the streets of Italy, before some of the audience recognized him and gathered around him to take pictures with him.

It did not take long before the fans began to gather around them, causing a great commotion and crowding, as they tried to move from one street to another, while the fans followed them through the roads of one of the most prominent markets in Rome, which includes famous shops and stores.

Despite this chaos, it did not seem to bother Stallone (77 years old) and his family, as they had smiles on their faces as they passed in front of all the excited fans, and Stallone looked healthy, youthful and summery.

Vacation and work

According to informed sources told the newspaper, Stallone and his family’s visit to Rome was not only for tourism, but also to complete filming scenes for new episodes of their reality television series, The Family Stallone.

The source confirmed that the new footage from the family vacation will be part of the second season of their reality series, which deals with the diaries of the couple and their three daughters.

It is noteworthy that the reality series received the green light to produce a second season, following the great success of its first season when it was shown on “Paramount +” last May.

In the presence of Pope Francis

Stallone and his family began their visit to Italy, from the Vatican City, by meeting with the Supreme Pontiff, Pope Francis, who expressed to Sylvester his admiration for the works of many years, as the Pope appeared smiling throughout the meeting.

Pictures published by “Rambo” on Instagram documented the expressions of surprise and joy that appeared on his face when he heard the Pope’s words. He considered it an honor for him, and joked with him, saying: “Shall we play boxing?!”
