Sydney Sweeney recently accomplished something she always hoped to do: she paid off her mother’s mortgage. The actress said this in an interview with the magazine Who What Wear.
“I recently paid off my mother’s mortgage. When I was young, I always dreamed of taking care of my parents one day. So this was quite an important step for me,” says the 26-year-old American, known for series such as Euphoria and The White Lotus.
Her parents are divorced and the actress tries to maintain good contact with them and the rest of her family. “I try to involve them in my life as much as possible, from regularly talking to my nieces and nephews to visiting my parents. It’s difficult because Los Angeles is very different from Spokane (Sweeney’s hometown, ed.). The costs of a big city versus a small town differ enormously and are also a challenge.”
