Multiple jobs are not uncommon in Switzerland: 23% of respondents have more than one job. That’s what revealed a PwC study published on Sundayconducted in April 2023 on 1,070 working people in Switzerland and which is part of a global survey of 53,912 people.

Internationally, 21% of respondents say they have more than one job. “What is striking is that Switzerland is not an exception, contrary to what one might think,” comments Tobias Sattler, director of the People & Organization section of PwC Switzerland. Same observation in terms of salary: 58% of those questioned declared having financial difficulties… compared to 60% internationally. “Even if inflation is less important in Switzerland, the question of finances has also become crucial here”, he adds, considering that this result is “worrying”.
