Defensive mistakes are forbidden
Coach Frame also knows about the strength of the French: “They have great individual class in the team. They also have a very big physical presence on the pitch.” The 54-year-old also sees an opportunity for Switzerland in the immense quality: “You know that you are very good. But that can also become a bit of a problem for them because they rely on it.”
Defensive weaknesses like in the 1st half against Italy, Switzerland will not be allowed to afford against the French. Frame therefore makes it clear: “The focus is on a compact defensive. We have to be strong as a team and conscientiously defend collectively.”
