Nintendo has yet to officially confirm a release date for the your next consolebut speculation remains quite heated and some informants estimate a date for the first half of 2024.

It is worth remembering that the Nintendo Switch continues to break sales records and lead sales charts around the world.

Chinese company MoneyDJ has informed its clients that Hongzhun is becoming an attractive investment target, as it foresees a strong increase in revenues for the second half of 2022 due to an employment contract signed with Nintendo for the production of components.

According to the company, this work will be carried out over the next few months, as, these sources claim, Nintendo intends to launch the console in early 2024 and Hongzhun will have to work to fulfill the contracts made with the Japanese company.

Nintendo has officially confirmed that it will not release new hardware before April 2024 and this contract with Hongzhun suggests that the console will arrive in the first quarter of the next fiscal year, in sometime between April and June 2024.

Long before a new console hits stores, some developers are given a prototype of the device in order to produce games that can be released together with the console.

These development kits end up having visuals that are very different from the final product, but have the main technical characteristics of the devices that reach consumers.

Nash Weedle, a leaker who has proven himself to be quite reliable in the past by confirming the existence of Metroid Dread before its official announcement, has revealed that the development kit for the new Nintendo Switch is in the hands of a Spanish development studio. The name is not mentioned and the tweet brings few details, but if true, it would mean that we have entered the final stages of development, that is, those that anticipate the presentation of the console.

Judging by previous leaks from Nash Weedle, it is likely that this Spanish studio is MercurySteam, the team behind the latest 2D titles in the Metroid series, and with which the tipster is very close.

As always, we must treat all information as a rumor, but it is clear that the new console should be released soon.
