The Swiss state government has approved the purchase of a new Global 7500 business jet. For a long-haul flight, however, Zurich or Geneva would have to be switched to.
The Bombardier Global 7500 is the new government jet selected by the Swiss Federal Council.

A new aircraft has to be purchased for the Swiss Federal Council. The Cessna Citation Excel 560 XL business jet previously used is a good twenty years old and has had its day. The government has now approved the purchase of a new Global 7500 for the federal air transport service and has presented the aircraft to the public.
