2024-01-19 21:25:03

HC Ajoie achieved the feat of the National League evening with their 2-1 success on the ice of Zug, third in the ranking. Bienne obtained a very good result by winning 3-2 at Ambri.

The red lantern had only beaten Zug twice in its history. So the Ajoulot success is not negligible. The Jurassiens made the difference in 22 seconds during the 3rd period. Gauthier and Romanenghi turned the match around (45th). The Ajoulots’ advantage was deserved at this point in the final third.

Winner 3-2 on the Leventine ice, Bienne practically assured its place in the top-10 before hoping to think of more. Rathgeb with a nice solo and Haas in the empty cage gave the Zealanders a two-goal advantage in the 3rd period. With four victories in the last five matches, Cunti’s teammates have proven their recovery.

Lugano brings down the bear

A double from Joly allowed Lugano to win 3-2 on the ice of CP Berne. The Ticino residents are doing a good job with a view to the top-6. They cement their 6th place and find themselves one point behind their evening opponent. For their part, the Rapperswil-Jona Lakers won 5-2 at the Langnau Tigers.
