Swiss Jumpers Shine at World Cup Engelberg – Gregor Deschwanden Leads the Charge

Four Swiss will be at the start of the first of two World Cup jumping events in Engelberg. Gregor Deschwanden was the best with his 12th place.

The Lucerne native surprised everyone by placing 2nd last Sunday in Klingenthal in Germany. It landed 130 meters away.

Killian Peier, Simon Ammann and Remo Imhof ensured their participation by ranking 27th, 41st and 49th respectively. The best in qualifying was Slovenian Anze Lanisek with a jump of 135.5 m.
