For his speech at the podium, the president of Swiss Athletics, Christoph Seiler, adopts the conquering tone of the leaders of successful organizations. He announces his intention to push for Switzerland to host an edition of the European Championships by 2030, if possible in a multi-sport version like Munich did in 2022, because, he recalls, the rise of the discipline in the country has its origins in the organization of the event in Zurich in 2014.
