If you want to distinguish A (H1N1) from other flu variants only by symptoms, then you most likely will not succeed – the symptoms are similar: high fever, sore throat, cough, general weakness, malaise, headaches, body aches . But the classic course of influenza differs from other SARS.
“First of all, this is a high temperature and pronounced symptoms of intoxication, this distinguishes the flu already in the first hours of the disease,” says Alexei Krivonogov. – Symptoms such as aches in the muscles, in the joints, as they say, in the bones, and headache are typical signs of the classic flu. But virology is changing, the susceptibility of the population, the immune response and, accordingly, the clinical picture are changing. So whether influenza A(H1N1) will be a problem in the immediate lower respiratory tract, we also cannot know. We will be able to draw some conclusions regarding the peculiarities of the course of influenza this season, when the number of cases increases and we will see how they will proceed.
