A sexagenarian found unconscious in the waters of Lake Geneva

A woman was found unconscious on Saturday around 3:30 p.m. in Lake Geneva, near the Port du Vieux Stand, in Lutry (VD). This 61-year-old Serb, resident of the Lausanne region, was rescued by people nearby. The latter brought her back to the shore, where a heart massage was given to her. Emergency services took over when they arrived. The sexagenarian was transported by ambulance to the CHUV, in Lausanne, in serious condition, the Vaud police said in a press release on Sunday.
Investigations to try to establish the causes and circumstances of this accident are carried out
by the gendarmes of the Lake Geneva brigade. The intervention required, among other things, the intervention of several gendarmerie patrols, as well as an ambulance.
