Miami (Florida) – The world number one and last year’s winner Iga Swiatek has canceled her participation in the tennis tournament in Miami because of rib problems. The Polish announced on Wednesday, one day before her opening match at the WTA 1000 tournament in the second round against the American Claire Liu. This will now be played by Julia Grabher from Vorarlberg, who slipped into the main competition as a lucky loser and also benefited from a bye.
