A team from the Economic Department in the South, supported by members of the State Security Office in Sidon, closed a sweets shop at the upper gate in Sidon with red wax on a signal from the Public Prosecutor of Appeal in the South, Judge Raheef Ramadan, due to its violation of public health conditions, and the goods inside the shop were destroyed.
During the raid, it was found that there were rats and cockroaches in the preparation area, in addition to the presence of wear and rust on the preparation tools and the lack of the minimum cleanliness conditions. A report was registered regarding the violation.
