450 employees
In the previous year, Dan-Küchen had sales of around 120 million euros with 450 employees. Ballingslöv is one of the largest kitchen furniture manufacturers in Europe and currently employs around 1,300 people. In the previous year, around 480 million euros were turned over. Ballingslöv International itself belongs to the Stena Group (5 billion euros in sales, 17,000 employees).
“We have had a friendly relationship with Ballingslöv International and the Olsson family – the owners of the Stena Group – for a long time,” emphasized Dan supervisory board member Robert Ehrenhöfer. “We were not looking for a financial investor, but for a family business as a partner” that would continue to run Dan kitchens in the spirit of the company.
