The incident occurred early this morning at a school in southern Stockholm, according to police.
“One person was shot and taken to hospital. This person was conscious and able to speak when we got there,” a police spokesman told Reuters.

“We are not looking for other perpetrators. We appreciate that we are controlling the situation at the school”, noted the representative, refusing to provide more information.
According to the school’s principal, the suspect and the victim were both students at the school and appeared to have had personal differences.
“They had a falling out about a year ago, but it was resolved. Now a controversy has arisen that has escalated and gotten out of control in this horrible way,” Kaz Mazuri said at a press conference.
