Sweden is the winner of Liverpool’s 67th Eurovision Song Contest. Loreen won the title with the pop song “Tattoo” in the M&S Arena in the evening. With the seventh ESC victory, the country succeeds last year’s winner Ukraine, which was unable to host the world’s largest music show in its own country due to the Russian war of aggression.
Finland and Israel behind Sweden
Sweden narrowly beat Finland’s Käärijä to second place. While Sweden received 583 points, Finland received 526. Israel’s Noa Kirel followed at a distance in third place. The world’s biggest music competition is broadcast in dozens of countries around the world – from Australia to to the North Cape. Every year around 150 million people watch the finals of the show alone.
