A unique preview of the new edition
The return of “Dancing with the Stars” to Polsat in the spring of 2024 brought huge emotions. The autumn edition promises to be equally exciting, and one of the special guests of the first episode was the winner of the 14th season – Anita Sokołowska, who invited to the new edition. After the performance of the Next dance group and the presentation of twelve couples, Krzysztof Ibisz and Paulina Sykut-Jeżyna invited to an episode whose main theme was the slogan “Hello, let’s get to know each other”.
Couple No. 1: Filip Lato and Julia Suryś – jive
Piece: Taylor Swift „Shake It Off”
The first dance in the 15th edition with a bang! The winner of the 20th edition of “Your Face Sounds Familiar” performed to Taylor Swift’s big hit, who complained before the competition that he didn’t have freedom in dancing. Did his teacher make him feel more relaxed on the dance floor?

Piece: Go With God “What’s a Woman”
The famous actor declared during the preparations for the first episode that he did not intend to slack off in training. In a duet with a dancer debuting on the show, he had only a few weeks of training to impress the four judges. The artist, known for his sense of humor, approached the new challenge very seriously.

Iwona Pavlović (7): I won’t be too harsh. You must be a good dancer if you’re dressed like that. I tried to catch you in your mistake, but I couldn’t.
Rafal Maserak (8): I am very impressed. Technically it was perfectly danced. It was really correct.
Ewa Kasprzyk (10): I see you enjoy it and sometimes you played, but you forgot to smile.
Tomasz Wygoda (6): Kudos for having the courage to show your body. I would have thought you would see your body as bigger because you started shrinking.

The goal of this couple is to simply dance together as long as possible. They are connected by good energy, which also comes in handy during the jive. Did the jury notice that? And how did they evaluate the debut performance of the popular influencer, who couldn’t sleep the night before the first episode?

Iwona Pavlović (10): It turns out that you have an undeniable talent for dancing. You took over this dance floor in every way. You feel like a fish in water here.
Tomasz Wygoda (9): As Iwona said: very nice feet, center, still a lot of joy.
Ewa Kasprzyk (10): You danced as fast as the brushes in the car wash.
Rafal Maserak (9): I’m looking for my jaw because my jaw dropped. If you dance like that in the first episode, I don’t know what will happen in the next ones.

Piece: Lionel Richie „Three Times a Lady”
“It really clicked!” they said with enthusiasm during preparations for the Polsat show. The English waltz fits the gentleman – as the dancer sees it – perfectly. Everything indicated that this performance should be rated very highly…

Tomasz Wygoda (9): It was all full of peace. You say you were supporting the walls, and that’s something you have to be able to do. You have such a position and back that it’s really bravo.
Rafal Maserak (10): You have to be mature to dance, and this waltz was mature.
Ewa Kasprzyk (10): If a world champion dances with a guy who looks like a pre-war lover, only a post-war romance can come of it.

Couple no. 6: Anna-Maria Sieklucka and Michał Kassin – cha-cha-cha
Piece: Kelly Clarkson „Stronger (What Doesn’t Kill You)”
The actress can’t praise her partner enough. Michał Kassin made it to the finals in his debut, so now the bar has been set really high. Did these two perfectionists manage to reach a level that satisfied the judges while practicing the cha-cha? Ratings and comments:
Tomasz Wygoda (6): You look beautiful, you had very difficult partnerships. I would focus more on the legs.
Iwona Pavlović (5): The legs were pretty strong, and this is the first episode… You have to do something about your nerves, because I can honestly see it. When you were alone, sometimes you lost your rhythm.
Ewa Kasprzyk (9): You danced brilliantly, unrivaled.
Rafal Maserak (7): Your idol was Billy Elliot. You have this power in you and you can be a dancer, so believe in yourself.

Olympic vice-champion and world champion – a combination doomed to success? The unyielding athlete, under the watchful eye of his titled partner, learned a discipline completely different from football. When entering the world of “beauty and elegance”, he was assigned the Viennese waltz.

The task was not easy, because rumba is an extremely sensual dance that requires a great deal of openness from the couple.

The icon of the Polish music scene is constantly having fun with life. Celebrating forty-five years on stage in 2024, she took on a new challenge, which – as she says – is the cherry on the cake. With the two-time finalist of the program, they started their dance adventure with wide smiles on their lips.
