Anna Hedenmo has been recruited to EFN Ekonomikanalen. After 30 years in the television box, she is leaving SVT behind – but not without a formal farewell.

In this week’s “Allsång på Skansen” she was in the audience to be thanked.

The tribute to the well-known presenter came in the form of a Swedish version of the Mello song “Let your spirit fly” performed by Jan Johansen and Pernilla Wahlgren.

“Anna Hedenmo, Anna Hedenmo, we will miss you, you can believe,” read the text in Swedish. Behind the host, a sign was raised with the text “Anna H owns” and the song ended with her being awarded a bouquet of flowers, a trophy and a princess cake.

– A little discreet thanks from us at SVT, joked Wahlgren.

Anna Hedenmo about the tribute

After the program, Anna Hedenmo talked about the feelings.

– It was fun, I was very happy! It was short enough and I didn’t have to say anything, which was great, she says, laughing.

Hedenmo says that she knew that there would be some kind of withdrawal, but she had not expected that Jan Johansen would come.

– It impressed my daughters, I can say.

Anna Hedenmo: “Did everything I dreamed of”

During her years on the TV channel, Anna Hedenmo has worked with, among other things, “Aktuellt”, “Rapport” and “Min sanning”. In connection with her departure, she said that SVT meant a lot to her.

– I’ve had the most enjoyable jobs, done everything I dreamed of. It will feel sad, she told him the television channel.

On the EFN Ekonomikanalen, a newsroom owned by Handelsbanken, Hedenmo will have his own interview program and also lead investments linked to the American election.

To Expressen, she says that she made her last “Agenda” broadcast the day after the EU election, but that she has not received any acknowledgment from her colleagues yet.

– There will be a draw here at the end of August and then I think there will be a party, she notes.
