Sven Feders signs an agreement to enhance freight services between Fujairah and Bangladesh

Abu Dhabi Ports Group announced today that Sven Feders, its shipping arm, has entered into a long-term agreement with Bangladesh-listed Safe Power Tech Limited, whose activities cover the port, logistics, civil engineering and energy sectors.
The agreement stipulates the cooperation of the two sides in the field of freight forwarding services between Fujairah and Bangladesh for a period of 15 years, whereby Sven Feders will provide eight “Supramax” bulk carriers with a tonnage of 55,000 tons for Safe Power Tech, according to cargo ship charter contracts to facilitate and facilitate maritime trade. .

The two sides will also manage and operate bulk cargo freight services, and other potential areas of cooperation between the two sides include leasing a berth and ferries to develop and improve cargo transportation operations, and adopt advanced storage solutions provided by the Abu Dhabi Ports Group. In addition to facilitating the movement of general and solid cargo between the port of Fujairah in the UAE In the United Arab Emirates and port facilities in Chittagong and Mongla in Bangladesh, the new bulk cargo services include transportation of cargo to the Indian subcontinent, Southeast Asia and other global destinations.
The agreement also covers a number of areas of future cooperation in which the two sides will develop and invest in infrastructure and marine projects in Bangladesh and the United Arab Emirates.
