Zauner is stepping down from his position as team manager for personal reasons. However, he will remain with the club in the stadium and in the background.
“I have been the team manager of SV Guntamatic Ried for over 30 years now, that’s a long time. Together with my family, I have decided not to continue my work because I want to bring more flexibility into my life. Of course, I will remain with the team as a fan and contact person; they have an excellent character. I am sure that with this unit we will soon be playing in the Bundesliga again,” said Rudi Zauner in a statement.
