A SOUTH KOREAN ACTRESS has reportedly been offered to star in a mystery thriller Korean drama series. Now, the agency of the singer and actress has provided clarification.
A local media outlet reported that Suzy received an offer to star in a drama titled Delusion (working title). SOOP Management, the artist’s agency, confirmed the news.
“It is true that Suzy received an offer to star in Delusion and is currently considering the offer,” said SOOP Management, quoted from Soompi, Tuesday (30/7)
According to reports, Suzy was the first actress to receive a casting offer for Delusion. Unfortunately, at that time, the casting was canceled due to scheduling conflicts. Along with the adjustment of the production period, Suzy received another casting offer for Delusion.
Delusion is a Webtoon adaptation series set in Gyeongseong in 1935 and Shanghai in the 1800s.
This drama tells the story of artist Yun Yi Ho who is assigned to paint a portrait of a mysterious woman named Song Jung Hwa and visits her hotel.
Suzy will play the character Song Jung Hwa, who is predicted to be a vampire. Meanwhile, until now, there has been no news regarding the actor of the character Yun Yi Ho in the drama directed by director Han Jae Rim.
In March, it was revealed that Han So Hee and Ryu Jun Yeol would star in the drama Delusion. They were then involved in a love scandal that ended with both of them agreeing to step down from the project. (Z-1)
