This is the place where Park Mo, who was 24 at the time, lived and committed serial rape 15 years ago.
From 2005 to 2007, Park raped and robbed women in their twenties, mainly living alone, eight times from 2005 to 2007.

“I can’t remember the exact year, but there was something like that around that time.”
Park, who was caught by the police, was sentenced to 15 years in prison in the first trial, but following two appeals, the sentence was commuted and the Supreme Court confirmed 11 years in prison.
However, while incarcerated, two additional crimes were discovered, and the sentence was extended by four years.
It was revealed that he raped a 25-year-old woman who was pregnant in 2002 and attempted to rape a 22-year-old woman by breaking into a studio in 2005.
The neighborhood where Park lived at the time was developed as an apartment complex, and the number of families with young children has increased dramatically.
I went up to the roof where I might see the surroundings at a glance.
This is the building where Park lived at the time of the crime, and the middle school is right across from it, and the daycare center is located behind it.
The anxiety of the residents is bound to be great.

“If someone like that comes, I get nervous… I just moved into this apartment, so there are a lot of kids.”

“Even if it comes, I don’t know what kind of X (face) will come…”
However, the court ordered Park’s personal disclosure period for only three years.
Even this is public notice through the Internet homepage, and mail notice is not made.
The measure of disclosing personal information for up to 10 years has been in effect since 2011, because most of Park’s crimes were sentenced before that and might not be applied.
Park’s whereregardings following being released from prison have not been decided.
When asked regarding Park’s preparations following release, the Gyeonggi Nambu Police Agency only replied, “I will check.”
