With a view to promoting energy efficiency and taking into account the dimension of sustainability in public buildings, the Moroccan Agency for Energy Efficiency (AMEE) and the National Agency for Public Facilities (ANEP) have signed 2 partnership agreements, this May 18, 2022, in Casablanca.
The Moroccan Agency for Energy Efficiency (AMEE) and the National Agency for Public Facilities (ANEP) are joining forces to improve energy efficiency and respect development principles. Indeed, the 2 agencies have recently sealed a partnership involving 2 conventions, in Casablanca. These agreements are part of the exemplary public administration in terms of energy efficiency.
For the 1time, it is a framework agreement. Its objective is to define the conditions and methods for promoting efficiency and sustainable development in public buildings.
As for the 2ndeit is specific to the development of 1is label national « Eco-Binayate-Public Buildings dedicated to sustainable public buildings in Morocco. This label will be a national benchmark for energy and environmental performance, focused on public buildings, according to the 2 agencies. Thus it will make it possible to classify them according to a number of requirements. The objective is to improve the energy quality of public buildings.
Note that the agreements were signed by Saïd Mouline, Director General (DG) of AMEE, and Zineb Benmoussa, DG of ANEP.
