Krems (OTS) – The IMC Krems is launching a total of four new degree programs in autumn 2024: The bachelor’s degree programs in StartUp Management* and Global Sustainability and Circular Business* and the master’s degree programs in Biotechnology and OMICS Data Science* as well as Sustainable Chemistry and Digital Processing*. An application is already possible.

IMC managing director Mag. Ulrike Prommer is pleased regarding the new study options: “We are proud that we are launching four new study programs and are able to further expand our university in an innovative manner. Graduates in these four future areas have top career opportunities.”

Implementation of business ideas

New to the IMC Krems program is the English-language Bachelor’s degree program StartUp Management*. It enables students to effectively plan their professional goals and realize innovative ideas. In addition to theoretical knowledge, practical insights into the central concepts of start-up management ensure a clear competitive advantage when implementing business ideas and cooperating with potential partners.

Career in sustainability management

Also new is Global Sustainability and Circular Business*, the English-language bachelor’s degree program that prepares students for careers in sustainability management and the circular economy. In addition to a fundamental understanding of sustainable principles, this involves adapting management strategies to the complex requirements of global markets in an ecological context.

Data-driven OMICS technologies

The planned master’s degree program in Biotechnology and OMICS Data Science* responds to the growing need for highly qualified specialists at the interface of biotechnology and data science. Graduates will be able to develop innovative projects in the areas of genomics, biotechnology and data science, lead multi-professional teams and tackle complex interdisciplinary challenges related to sustainability.

Chemistry, sustainability and digitalization

Sustainable chemistry drives change in the industrial production of chemicals and materials by striving for resource efficiency and minimal environmental impact. The master’s program in Sustainable Chemistry and Digital Processing* responds to this trend with a new range of courses in the field of applied chemistry, which enables graduates to develop innovative projects at the interface between chemistry, sustainability and digitalization.

Open House

All new study programs will be represented at the Open House on February 17th at the IMC Campus Krems. Further information is available on the IMC Krems website.
