Attack in Ramla: A 19-year-old young woman was stabbed today (Friday) at the intersection of Dani Mas and Herzl streets in Ramla, her condition is serious. The terrorist, an Arab-Israeli citizen, tried to escape but a citizen present at the scene chased him and neutralized him.

The young woman who was stabbed was referred to Assaf Harofeh Hospital following being stabbed in the upper body. Her condition is stable and she is being treated in a trauma room.

Itamar Ben Gabir, the Minister of National Security, was slightly-moderately injured when his vehicle overturned at the scene. According to eyewitnesses, the vehicle ran a red light. Ben Gvir said that the citizen who neutralized the stabber received the weapon four months ago “thanks to the reform I led”. In addition, the minister referred to the decision to allow visits to the terrorists who are imprisoned in Israel and said: “Visits? They should get a bullet in the head. I asked the Prime Minister to reconsider.” Minister Ben Gabir also said on the background of the negotiations for the release of hostages: “We need to enter Rafah. Do not give up”.

According to Mandi Amitai, an emergency medicine medic from the MDA’s motorcycle unit: “We arrived at the scene quickly. We saw a young woman when she was conscious and suffering from a stab wound in her upper body. We performed dressings and stopped the bleeding and evacuated her in an MDA intensive care vehicle to the hospital while she is conscious and in critical condition.”
