After CRAMA, her first album, where Greek traditional music meets jazz through her arrangements, she now shifts to a more confessional, personal style, through which her eagerness to share what she has seen and learned so far is captured. With music and lyrics of her own, combined with the inventive orchestration of Thanasis Karypides, Sasha’s songs are recorded in her birthplace, Drama, and prepare for a journey outside the usual musical borders.
On May 19, the nine songs of the new album will be presented, the eight with music and lyrics of her own, along with her own arrangement of a favorite rebetiko song, as well as a full program with guests Vangelis Germanos, Maria Soultatou, Thanasis Karypidis and Eva Faklaris.
