Suspected Illinois sniper who killed six people and injured 24 arrested

El Highland Park Police Department (Illinois, EE UU), ha informed that the prime suspect in killing at least six people and injuring 24 others in a mass shooting had been arrested.

The arrested is Robert Crimo, a 22-year-old white man, whose name and image had already been distributed by the authorities as a “person of interest” in the crime. They then detailed that now the police should question Crimo to determine his connection to the shooting and that, if all goes smoothly, there will be no further press updates until this Tuesday.

In full morning of a holiday and in the middle of the celebration parade independence daythe Lake County Sheriff’s Office and Highland Park, Illinois, police confirmed the incidents through their social networks.

The shooter opened fire from a rooftop on the assembled crowd to watch the Independence Day parade. He then fled, and the authorities considered him “armed and dangerous”.
