The criminology graduate student accused of fatally stabbing four University of Idaho students last month was due to make his first court appearance on Tuesday in Pennsylvania, following which he was to be flown to Idaho to face charges. murder charges.
Graduate student Bryan Kohberger, 28, was arrested at his parents’ home in eastern Pennsylvania last week and charged with the nighttime murder of four college students at a home in Moscow, Idaho on Nov. 13. E. David Christine Jr., the district attorney for Monroe County, Pa., where the court appearance is taking place on Tuesday, said he expects authorities to take Mr. Kohberger “immediately” to Idaho if he consents to his extradition.
