Another shooting kills three in Texas
Authorities in the city of Houston, Texas said three people were shot and killed there by a man who first set fire to their home.
“This suspect unfortunately (..) set fire to several residences, waited for residents to come out and shot them,” Houston Police Chief Troy Finner said at a press conference.
He added that firefighters battling the blazes had to take cover from the shooter at the same time.
The police eventually intervened and shot the man dead.
According to the Houston police chief, the shooter had recently received an eviction order, which “may have been a trigger.”
Meanwhile, an NFL footballer, Brian Robinson Jr, was targeted by gunfire in the capital Washington in a possible carjacking, but is in stable condition, reported the Washington Post.
