NasDem Party General Chair Surya Paloh hopes that the president-elect for the 2024-2029 period, Prabowo Subianto, can continue the greatness of President Joko Widodo’s (Jokowi) leadership. Moreover, Jokowi has led for 10 years.
“What has been good in the 10 years of President Jokowi’s leadership must continue. It must be even better,” said Surya Paloh at the Parliament Complex, Senayan, Jakarta, Friday (16/8).
Surya Paloh invites everyone to pray for the success of the Prabowo era. He believes the people will be disappointed if there is a decline in the Prabowo era.
“That is our hope, if it is delayed further, oh, that will be a disappointment for us. That is our joint prayer,” he said.
On the other hand, he also emphasized that the ministerial matter is Prabowo’s business as president-elect. NasDem is reluctant to interfere in that matter.
“He’s the one who’s the president, he’s the one who manages his cabinet, right? Mr. Prabowo himself. All prerogatives are in Mr. Prabowo’s hands,” he said. (P-5)
