The thermometer will once more blithely exceed 30 degrees Celsius this Friday and the weekend in Miami but, according to the National Weather Service, the temperature feels like taking into account the sweltering humidity might reach 40 degrees. At night, the mercury will not drop below 30 degrees. Authorities have extended the heat wave alert until Sunday evening. The southwestern and southern United States are hit by a historic heat wave, affecting 100 million Americans. Many temperature records might fall in the coming days across the country.
