“Fortunately and thank the universe, my sister had come to visit me that day. She arrived regarding 15 minutes following the fall and she found me. She told me that streams of blood were coming out of my head. They almost found me dead,” says Guillermo Prieto, better known as Pirry. Although he does not specify the exact date on which the accident occurred, he says that it was this year when, in the middle of the repair in the bathroom, the ladder on which he was leaning slid thanks to the fact that it was supported on a towel. . The fall left him with a wound in his right parietal muscle and he had to receive 22 stitches. “When I woke up and saw the magnitude of the injury, I realized how easy life can go. You don’t have to be doing an extreme sport. Sometimes one’s energy and life drain away thinking not regarding what one might have or achieve, but regarding what one does not have.”
The boy from Boyacá comments that the blow was such that he lost his memory and was not aware of what happened until hours later, which is why he had to undergo several medical check-ups. “I don’t remember anything, I remember until a day and a half later, already in the hospital. They did a CT scan, they did a series of tests. Now the neurosurgeon asked me for other tests, including an electroencephalogram.”

Pirry wrote in the description of the video that the reason why he decided to share this story was following the death of actress Alejandra Villafañe, a death that made him think regarding the transience of life and how little health is appreciated.

Despite this, she encourages the audience to take advantage of what they have, recognizing that although life is unfair, it is necessary to take control of it because it may be short-lived. “If you can get up today and are healthy, you can achieve anything and you should be grateful for that.”
Regarding his state of health, he comments that he is still waiting for some results, but that he has faith that everything will turn out well, although “a couple of strange episodes” have occurred since the event.
